Maggot Colony - Spewing the Violated Souls

METAL MARCH - Maggot Colony shows no mercy here. "Spewing the Violated Souls" is sick from the very first second. After "Perpetuating the Viral Infestation" a year ago, this record is hell of a brutiful EP (Extended Play) album. Aiden Zhang (vocals), Jacob Nings (guitars), Larry Wang (bass), and Kane Chen (drums), are the masterminds behind this beast unit. In 11:25 time of your miserable life, you ears will be destroyed in a very intense drumming (some gravity blastbeat), fast yet catchy riffs, enjoyable bass, and killer gutturals. "Spewing the Violated Souls" is perfect definition of an enjoyable brutal music. Varying tempos, fast yet catchy because originally they're a slam band, sick fucking beast vocals by Aiden is the highlight. I can feel his rapid development since "Perpetuating the Viral Infestation". So powerful.

Chris Peluso (Coprocephalic guitarist) did awesome job in post-production area, a crunchy yet crystal-like sound is what you get here. All instruments are fill their roles perfectly, and the vocals appear very distinctive. Save the best for the last, Maggot Colony decision to put "The Crimson Swirl" as the last track is a wise move. It's perfect track to end your infinite torture, kills you with insane vary song structure. And the last 40 seconds of the song, it's time when you want to smash your head to a nearby wall. If you're a die hard fan of slam even brutal death metal conservative, "Spewing the Violated Souls" is perfect album to raping your ears for a long time, because it's definitely not an ordinary album. I'm not hesitate to give this dope 9.5 out of 10! As an addition, they're now working on the second full-length.
